Long & Little meg (2024)
Gemstone, acrylic & emulsion on engraved wood.

At Long Meg and Little Meg, the energy was electric—static, almost like a charge in the air. The contrast between the vast, imposing Long Meg and the tiny, delicate Little Meg was striking, yet both felt magnetic, like they were pulling at me. I met a man who shared a story about the stones being protected by witches and how an attempt to destroy them with dynamite was thwarted by a lightning strike. The power of the stormy atmosphere was palpable, but it was not sinister—more like an intense, playful energy that felt alive and charged with potential.
